Jana Josephina is a singer, songwriter from Frankfurt via Mallorca, Paris, London, Zurich and New York. Jana’s songs could have come from any of these great cities, being a placeless sort of magisterial and melodic, icily infectious but emotionally engaging type of 21st century pop music.

With a voice that can be described as ‘oriental folk’, powerful yet frosted amongst infectious electro-pop synths; Jana wrote the melodies and lyrics herself for her upcoming album CONTRADICTION, while the music and production is courtesy of JOE CROSS who has worked with ZOOT WOMEN and successful Manchester duo HURTS.
