Jamie Myerson - Revisions
Jungle: The Sound Of The Underground
Sony Music Entertainment, Inc.
1996
Here's an old one from 1996 (tho I didn't hear it 'till bout 2000). I like the sound it's got, especially as DnB more or less no longer sports this sound.
I added this not just simply because I like the tune, but because I've read comments stating US DnB can't come wit da smooth jazzy flava (sometimes said by an American mind you) or out right anti-US DnB statements. If you live in the States, you gotta search for the music folks. We aren't on the level of the UK scene and instead of givin all the praise to their scene (which I entirely wont lie, it is good) and vilifying ours, try making ours better. I don't know why I bother, most people in the US scene are too apathetic to do anything. It's like the late 90's rave scene all over again. What Junglists need to do, is stop caring so much about the country of origin, roll one up or grab a Blue Moon, sit back and listen to some tunes. I'm gonna listen to some Stim Axel.
Sorry bout that rant y'all. Anyways, check out other Jamie Myerson tunes under the aliases JLM Productions, P.E.P., and Sky City. It's not all DnB, but that shouldn't matter, should it?
