DESCRIPTION:
This intimate view of the Master Musicians of Joujouka during live performance of the Boujeloud pageant at the 2013 festival in the village Joujouka/Jajouka was shot by Marek Pytel of Reality Films. Up close and personal The Masters are revealed in collective mode. Boys from the village dance as Aisha Kandisha, the mad women gifted to Boujeloud as a bride, and then Boujeloud arrives, whipping, trembling and bestowing.
