This song was written in 1983 by the band Moving Targetz following the disappearance and brutal murder of Sharin' Morningstar Keenan. Her alleged killer, Dennis Melvyn Howe, has never been caught.
The song was originally released on Moving Targetz' debut EP for Bullseye Records 'The Wonderful World of Moving Targetz' in 1983. The song was re-recorded in 2008 on the occasion of this young girl's death. It is now 37 years later and Howe is still at large.
