Allow me to introduce you to the most incredible MC. Period. One who embodies all that is required to be honored with the distinguished title of MC. One who operates the microphone with tenacity, precision, ultimate skill, organic creativity and most of all an undying love for hip hop.



Going by the name of J.A.E, he officially said hello to the mic and launched his journey towards the sacred office of MC. It was in ’03 that J.A.E finally decided to write a couple of lines and spit them for his big brother, whom he had grown up frequently hearing kick rhymes. The admiration he held for his big brother developed into a desire to be just like him. So J.A.E flowed; and his brother immediately recognized his raw talent, heard the potential in his voice, and encouraged him to keep writing and to keep working. J.A.E kept rhyming and eventually hooked up with producer YC, of The North Starz, who supplied him with the beats needed to make classic hits.



For J.A.E, great lyricism is vitally important and he diligently grinds to maintain a crisp flow, to always have substantive content within that flow and to construct lyrics that connect with listeners in multiple states of mind and emotional locations. J.A.E steps into the booth dedicated to a greater purpose and is consciously aware of his responsibility to hip hop culture.



J.A.E has melted microphone wires and destroyed stages at venues throughout Metro Detroit including: The Fillmore, The Lager House, The Bullfrog, Alvin’s, Cass Tech High School and Checkers Bar and Grill. In 2007, J.A.E set the streets on fire with two mixtapes: The Collection Vol. 1 and The Collection Vol. 2: The Masterpiece, combined they have generated nearly 300 downloads online. And in early ’08, J.A.E once again lit flames on the block with his third mixtape: ACID MUSIC VOL. 1. Which alone has gathered more than 5000 plays on datpiff.com.



After ACID MUSIC, J.A.E. released The Collection Vol. 3: The Funeral, the last of the collection series. J.A.E. is currently working on DETROIT SOSA, which promises to be the biggest and best of his mixtapes to date. Features including Stretch Money, Ray Ray, and many more. After DETROIT SOSA, and possibly several other mixtapes comes the heavily anticipated debut album (For Those Who Don’t Know). Look for J.A.E to execute in the capacity of an MC like no other. His project will feature broadly unique song concepts, witty wordplay, verses that paint the most vivid pictures, music inspired by life, the greatest expression of quality lyricism all brought to you with the meanest swag.
