Jaded Faith 1959RR Platinum Edition vs Sacred Groove MK22 Randall MTS RM-22 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 15, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
This is a demo of two custom modded Randall MTS modules that are designed to replicate the classic Marshall tone. The first module is a Jaded Faith 1959RR Platinum Edition, and the second is a Sacred Groove MK22. The 1959RR was used with the following settings: JMP switch engaged, 2-Stage switch engaged, Diode clip off, Voice switch default, Haze switch off. The MK22 was used with the 2204 switch engaged (designed to emulate the 50 Watt JMP 2204).

The audio for the video was recorded with a Randall RM-22 amp played through a 1x12 Celestion Greenback. The cabinet was miked with an Audio Technica 4047-SV into a Presonus M80 preamp, and the signal was recorded into an EMU 0404 USB interface. No other processing was done on the audio signal as it was captured. The guitar used was a Gitano SG copy that has a Dimarzio FRED pickup in the bridge position with the volume and tone knobs set to 10.
