Jacob Wick was born near Chicago, IL in 1985. An "edgy, fiercely smart improviser" (Philadelphia Weekly), who Downbeat calls "exciting and curious," his playing has been described as everything from "inhuman" (Chicago Reader) to "a Shakespeare soliloquy" (allaboutjazz.com). He has so far released two CDs.
