DESCRIPTION:
This rendition of the traditional old-time tune "Kitchen Girl" was the encore after an hour-plus-long set at Jackpine Jamboree music festival. Roger Netherton of St. Louis leads on fiddle. Backing him are Russell Pedersen (banjo) and Adam Greuel (guitar), both from the group Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, whom Roger had met and jammed with at a festival earlier this summer. On bass is Stef Lee of Sloppy Joe, whom Roger had met for the first time this morning. Recorded Aug. 30, 2014, in Birnamwood, Wisconsin.
