Jack Mantis & Andre Geldenhuys - 'Sweet Water' Andre and I have embarked on a musical voyage together, this is the first instalment of a little acoustic instrumental album we are starting to work on. This little freestyle jam came about after a morning of watching an Ali Farka Toure' and Toumani Diabate' video of two friends playing soul music together. We'll be stripping it down to two acoustic guitars, live takes and no mixing…just catching the moment and the natural surrounds. I shot this video on Saturday down in Kommetjie (Cape Town/South Africa) in a little wooden home in the company of the ever growing patchwork family. Astounded by the love and flying kites…the ocean calls me to its depths, her voice a coral murmur.
