Jack ‘Mr Bongo’ Costanzo - the man that spawned the name for our label nonetheless! American born bandleader, composer, conducter and dancer nicknamed Mr Bongo for popularising the instrument.

Costanzo played with Peggy Lee, Perez Prado, Frank Sinatra and many many more. Clearly a friend of the stars, he taught the likes of Marlon Brando, Betty Gable and Carolyn Jones to play bongo’s.
