Just only at the mere age of 18 years old, you could say that Dyce-Man is one of the best up and coming Hip-Hop producers to come out of the Manchester urban music scene. However, that would be an understatement. Fused with both creativity and individuality, he is not afraid to test the boundaries of what an average consumer would consider the "norm" of the infamous sound of Hip-Hop, which could also suggest that by forming a new and fresh sound, this rare quality is what makes him so distinctive from others.

Influenced at the tender age of 4, Dane who is known by his peers as Dyce-Man, has always had a certain passion and curiosity for music but never knew how to apply it correctly. He would often hum melodies and beat out small drum patterns on tables. This only became more apparent in his teenage years when in the Summer of 2005, with the support of his school friends, he made the conscious decision of sharing his outlook of life with others by writing short stories as a way of conveying his opinions about social issues present in society. For a further period of a year, his ability as an artist progressed with performances in his local area and a portfolio of material increasingly forming. Some may have questioned: what would he do next?

However, still not content with the politics and responsibilities, which was precedent in the industry, during the start of 2006, Dyce-Man made a transformation, which could possibly determine the rest of his future by shedding his image as an “mc” and delving into the world of music production. Having a limited amount of resources and knowledge about production, he would constantly be reading and analyzing both rappers and producers who have became successful and try and emulate their sound. From the Pete Rock’s to the Rakim’s, historically Dyce-Man then went straight back to basics to the origins of a variety of styles in an attempt to apply it to his own sound. Furthermore, in the process generating his own unique sound.

Now currently enrolled at Trafford College's "Manchester Music Base" Dyce-Man is optimistically furthering his prospects with a succession of beats, such as “Bump In The Night” and “Get Far” which have successfully been vocalled by recording artists and also has recently expanded his movement with both a label and a studio entitled: Parradyce Entertainment© and Parradyce Studios©. In addition, in December 2007 he was also awarded the "Music Student of The Year" at the Access To Music Awards, London which was presented by Radio 1's resident DJ Edith Bowman. No doubt, with a fully focused mind and a solid determination to advance the way and meaning of music, I have a feeling that Dyce-Man will surely be a young figure to watch out for in the near future.
