That it can be! This Pennsylvania native sure has a nice voice, and sadly this was her sole charting single, reaching #67 in 1989. After MCA scrapped her album she had cut for them before its release, she went on to perform (apparently as Irene Kelley, not sure why they left one "e" out of her last name for this release) and also write songs which have been recorded by Alan Jackson, Pat Green, Trisha Yearwood, etc. And she's still quite active today putting out new music, so that's great.
