THE STORY BEHIND
I wrote "A Walk in Late Afternoon" in January 2010. Since I compose by ears, I didn't really think too much about the key I was composing in, at that time, until I was called to transcribe it for my Chamber Music group at school. That was when I finally realized that... among all the keys out there, I'd chosen one of the most difficult keys by accident... lol.
This piece, in particular, is very special to me because its pure existence among my composition repertoire is itself an anomaly: it is in a major key!! Although I personally prefer minor keys because they tend to delve into the "dark side" (which is absolutely thrilling), major keys also have their charm.
THE VIDEO-EDITING PROCESS
This was my very first time using Final Cut Express for video-editing. I had 3 consecutive all-nighters to familiarize myself w/ the program & to produce something decent... I must admit that I find Final Cut very challenging for newcomers like me... But thank goodness, I was able to make something out of it ha!!
