The infamous Butcher Cover by The Beatles is the crazy raffle prize for RSD'14! Seriously, they are giving it away on Record Store Day, April 19, 2014 at we-got-the-beats. Complete with the professionally peeled cover, the inner sleeve with no splits, and certificate of authenticity.

When The Beatles "Yesterday And Today" record first came out, it had a cover pic of the Brits wearing butcher jackets, with plastic baby dolls, covered in pieces of meat. This proved so offensive to fans that they were immediately recalled, and a new, tame cover was pasted over the recalled ones before being redistributed. Original, sealed, never-pasted-over (aka "first state") specimens can sell for over $10,000.00 each.

this one was a "second state" before it was peeled. The previous owner had it professionally peeled, keeping the pasted-over cover mostly intact.
