DESCRIPTION:
Eterna Forest's music is so tranquil and soothing. You'll find that all these qualities are preserved in my jazz cover / remix of Eterna Forest from Pokémon Diamond / Pearl / Platinum!

Continuing on with some more Gen IV music, here's my rendition of Eterna Forest, a normally very tranquil theme which is only played in one area of the Sinnoh region. The Eterna Forest is one of the many examples of why the Sinnoh region has some of the best atmospheric locations, in my opinion. You've got the Eterna Forest, Route 216, Stark Mountain, Spear Pillar, and even the Distortion World. All these places have really unique atmospheres, and the OST definitely plays a big part in that.

Now, a jazz version of Eterna Forest is something I don't think too many people expected. I've thought about doing this piece for a long time, and I was finally compelled to do so when I heard the track "Familiarity" by the Punch Brothers, a band that plays music that fits in to the genre of "progressive bluegrass". That's a pretty freakin' cool genre, if you ask me. That song inspired me to include the ukulele and classical guitar into this song, which I haven't really utilized in the past. The new Ibanez I purchased helped me become a lot more familiar with the fretboard, so I was able to put these instruments to good use....finally!
