DESCRIPTION:
Circle of Vengeance was a Bay Area progressive thrash band. Some members went on to play in more well known acts such as Jack Gibson (Bass - Exodus), Mike Bennett (40 Grit, Planting Seeds), and part time singer Steev Esquivel (Skinlab). This recording is the so-called "Masaki Demo" recorded by engineer Masaki Liu at One Way Studios in Concord, CA. It was remastered by Colin Davis at Imperial Mastering from a cassette tape. COV used this recording to audition singers, eventually settling on Sean Guest, who is shown in the photo montage. This tape has no vocals on it. All of the performances were recorded live except solos which were overdubbed.
