Ilya Malyuev is a Russian electronic music composer, producer and DJ. Since the age of four, Ilya has been carried away by music. First learning classical music and composition from famous musicians, Ilya has since started working on electronic music in 2001. Influenced by the underground-dance and electronic-pop music, Ilya started searching for his own style in many different genres of electronic music. As a result, there's a wide range of genres Ilya has been working on.
In 2005, Ilya created a new alias, Baltic Sound, which is not only a different alias, but also a whole new style of sound. The debut release of Baltic Sound was Glimmer, supported by Nick Warren, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Armin van Buuren & many many more.
Now Ilya continues to combine different genres from jazz to techno, being highly influenced by Detroit, Chicago, NY, Paris and Berlin sounds, however keeping the "Baltic Sound" still in a more progressive house way.
