DESCRIPTION:
Betta Dayz is a song about hope, change and love. In life, we are usually heading into a storm, in a storm, or coming out of one. I was coming out of one when I wrote this song. Several years ago, we were having complications with my wife's (Erica) pregnancy. The doctor's prognosis was not a positive one. We knew that God had the last word and we prayed for a miracle. As I prayed for a miracle I kept asking myself, " Here I am praying to Jesus for a miracle, but what have I done for God's kingdom?" Our prayers were answered on Nov. 29, 2007, and we received a healthy baby girl that we named her Faith Gracelyn Ramirez. I made a promise to GOD that I would record music to speak on the Power of Christ. A couple years after Faith's birth I was given an instrumental by Ryan (Keyz) Williams and my pen just took off and started flowing. The first verse addresses our situation with Faith, and the last two verses confront socio-political issues of the world. Cousin Kiara did an amazing job blessing the track with her heavenly voice. If you ask you shall receive, and nothing is too big for the POWER OF JESUS CHRIST. I experienced a miracle and just giving some testimony that it is REAL.
