Ittai and The Toys is an innovative concept of improvised performance harnessing the creative power of computers and other digital devices, to create live looped layers of different instruments. Past and Future meet as Traditional instruments and musical traditions are fed through a computer, iPad, iPhone and I am. This meeting of times let's us focus on the present and create the perfect soundtrack for it. Different each time just like life - each moment special.

This setup enables me to put on shows/workshops, introducing many "exotic" unfamiliar instruments in a modern club-like context. The audience can play an active role during the performance, composing together with me "the music of right now". In some cases, I can even create a track from ideas generated during a session and make it available for download for the audience.
Adding local guests is always a great way into the crowd's heart. Because of the improvised nature of the show, I easily add guests without much preparation and rehearsals.

Ihab Nimer is a master of Arabic Violin and Oud. Ihab's music is an expansion of classical arabic music. He believes in the music and the artistic tradition he grew into, and yet his music is unique and new. Ihab has been a teacher at the renowned musrara school of eastern music for over a decade.

Ittai plays western and eastern wind instruments, writes music for AndraLaMoussia, for theater and movies. In the music he writes, and in his arrangement of traditional melodies, east and west influences are combined and become a contemporary Jewish Israeli music. Ittai Binnun plays with renowned Israeli and international musicians who specialize in world music; and masters the following instruments: Clarinet, Saxophone, Ney, Zurna, Duduk, Dijeridoo, Baglama, Guitar, Saz and more. Ittai is an experienced recording studio producer and engineer, working with software like Pro Tools, Logic, and Ableton Live.
