Hyphy Mobb began in 2006 as a collection of Rappers, Go Getters, Friends, Family, Hustlers, Turf Dancers, and creativity From Northern California. The Group Consists of Rappers Jaylasell, Smokie Smoke, CityStar, Tonka and Rapper/Producer D*Magic. 3 Brothers and 2 Cousins who all came together in the South Bay Area of Northern California. What makes this group Unique is the members are from all over the USA however all came together In California which explains the hyphy of the group. Hyphy Mobb does not follow in the trend of hyphy however they take it to another level. Don't make any mistakes The group pays their respect to the originators of the movement! However Hyphy Music is not the only type of music that Hyphy Mobb Does.



All the members of Hyphy Mobb grew up with music and have been in the rap game for some time. Jaylasell a vet in the Game doing his thang for 12 years before teaming up with Smoke Smoke in Oct of 2006 to record the Underground Hit "On My Way" at the Proz Studio with Nextaken. The group got their first big break into the West coast rap scene after the Mixtape single took off in the streets, On Myspace and after plenty of Shows and promotion HYPHY MOBB spread via word of mouth. 2007 the Group Dropped Fast Life The Unfinished Bidness Teaming Up with Nextaken, Dj Suede. Later that year The Group Followed up the Mixtape with the Release of "Lets Go 2 Da Club" Produced By D*Magic and Featuring as well as Debuting P.Child aka Trendz. Also in 2007 Hyphy Mobb was Featured On The In School Suspension Mixtape Along Side Bay Area Artist such as TeamKnoC, The Cataracs and Diligentz. The featured song "On My Way" Was third best selling song off the mixtape and even sold internationally! As well Hyphy Mobb Preformed for Traxamillion's Class of 2007 bash, MP HIGH IN SAN JOSE January 2007 winter sports rally, Krazy Koyte, Radio TV, And A list of Other shows.



In 2008 The Group dropped The Lost Tapes Vol.1 A collection of Freestyles and unreleased Songs From The Fast Life Sessions. Also In 2008 Smokie Smoke debuted as a solo artist with "I'm Smoke Vol.1" With D*Magic and Ralphiee As producers. Hyphy Mobb The Group contributed to the Mixtape with Several guest appearances. The Results were Hit Internet Singles, "Stuntastic" Ft D*Magic, "Weed-N-Heem" Ft Hyphy Mobb.



Later In 2008 Hyphy Mobb takes a trip 8 hours away from the Bay Area to Long Beach California to preform at California State University, Long Beach.
The show contributed the on growing fan base. By Winter 2008 Jaylasell debuts as a solo Artist Under Hyphy Mobb Ent. With the Hit Single "Dummy Dance" Feat CityStar, & In January 2009 Jaylasell Drops "When Hell Freezez Over" The Mixtape which also contains The Hit Singles, "Dummy Dance" "Here 4 You" Ft Lena, & "Pour My Own" The Mixtape Contains features from the Whole Group and Debuts Tonka as Well as Young Jabb.



As 2009 progressed Hyphy Mobb appeared on Several guest slots for many artist and producers. Not Only Does this Group RAp They are also Producers D*Magic and Ralphiee contribute production for many of the song which will appear on the Debut Album From Hyphy Mobb aka THE HM BOYZ which will be coming out in 2010. "LET YA FEET WORK" Already has created a buzz as the groups first official Single From the Forth comming debut Album.
