Artist Biography: RT-Zed is fronted by Steve Grantley, the drummer from the legendary UK punk band Stiff Little Fingers. Steve was also a member of stadium rockers The Alarm, and has also worked with Julian Lennon, Billy Duffy of The Cult, Glen Matlock of The Sex Pistols, and Bruce Foxton of The Jam, among many others. With RT-Zed Steve is singer, songwriter, and guitarist.

RT-Zed was formed by Steve in 2000. Throughout the years, though busy with his commitments to Stiff Little Fingers and The Alarm, he managed to record sporadically with RT-Zed and perform one-off gigs. In 2000 they released their first album "Return To Zero" followed by "Honour The Barbarian" in 2003. This year also found them contributing to a Clash tribute album with their version of The Clash classic "Guns of Brixton."

"Zed Hed," is their latest album, released on May 1, 2013. It is a collection of high energy, modern, alternative rock songs with a punk edge and a pop sensibility.

In 2012 the band played a series of well-attended one-off shows in the UK showcasing their new material. To kick off the CD's official release, on May 10, 2013 RT-Zed performed many of the new tracks at Kirk Brandon's Westworld Weekend. Other UK gigs are planned throughout 2013 to promote the new album and there are plans to tour The States later in the year, hitting a few key venues in New York, LA, Boston, and Chicago.
