National anthem of the Principality of Hutt River - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 01, 2009
DESCRIPTION:
National anthem of the principality of Hutt River : "It's a hard land, but it's our own land"
The principality is located on a large farming property 517 km north of Perth, near the town of Northampton. It was founded on April 21, 1970 by Leonard George Casley, when he and his associates proclaimed their secession from the state of Western Australia in response to a dispute over what the Casley family saw as draconian wheat production quotas.. Casley now styles himself "His Royal Highness Prince Leonard I".

Here are the lyrics :

Its a hard land but its our own land
Built with love and dedication
Self assured is our small nation
One mans dream of independence

God bless the Prince of Hutt River Province
God bless the man whose dream has come true
God bless this land where dreams can come true

God bless the Prince of Hutt River Province
God bless the man whose dream has come true
God bless this land where dreams can come true
