Prelim Round - each non-seated MC spits 16 bars, best 6 out of 8 advance...
1. Who are You & Why do you Rhyme? (state yr name, city, crew, style, tell us who u are & why you're even rhyming)

Head to Head Round - four pairs, each MC's verse is judged against one another, best FOUR advance
2. Your Favorite Women & Why? (yr mom, fam, freedom fighters, athletes, MCs? and how they shaped u)

Head to Head SemiFinal Round - two pairs, each MC's verse is judged against one another, best TWO advance
3. Shoes. (do u have a shoe fetish? yr favorite kicks? walking a mile in yr shoes...)

Head to Head Final Round - 1 on 1, each MC's verse is judged against one another, ONE winner
4. The Real Thing or Just A Fling. (Love vs. Lust)

Tie Breaker Topics:

5. Hustle & Flow. (skillfully talk about your hustle)
6. Mary Jane (yr thoughts on medicating, cultivation & legalization...yr favorite flaves?)

Rules:
-NO ACAPELLAS - no beat changes -beats provided by DJ ZoLe & Cas 1 & others
-must go 16 bars each round or face elimination to a weaker full 16
-Written suggested, Freestyle accepted but no extra points for freestyling
-Try to rap on topics provided, judges listen for topic, clarity, delivery & style
-Crowd decides in case of a tie in the Finals or a tie breaker Topic

-The 2 seated Semi-Finalists do NOT compete on Topic 1.
-Topic 1 is for the 8 max MCs who will rap 16bars in the Preliminary Round to be judged down to 6 who will advance to the head to head Topics. Bring your best to advance!
-Topics 2, 3 & 4 are the main head to head Topics to prepare for, with Topic 4 as thee Final round. However, should any Rounds end in a tie at anytime, then Topics 5 & 6 will be chosen respectively as "tie-breaker Topics." So really you need to be prepared for all Topics!
-In the event of a crowd polled tie in the Finals, you will have to freestyle battle vs. your opponent (if time permits), or the Judges will be polled for a final vote.
