Humming Urban Stereo is one of those bands that upon hearing them for even a second you get swept away by the music. I find it very rare to find a band around that can do that.even rarer then finding information on this group! Humming Urban Stereo is a newly formed group having started around 2004 with the first EP release titled 'Short Cake'. It's mainly a one man project Lounge/Bossanova band fronted by Lee Jeereen (Jeereen Lee). He assisted the help of two female vocals, Shina-E and Humming Girl, which helped add flavor and made the music catchier! People's interest to their first EP'Short Cake' helped them to release their first full album 'Very Very Nice! And Short Cake' (a double CD package) in January 2005. Also due to the popularity they were able to release a second album entitled 'Purple Drop' on March 13, 2006. Lee Jeereen is currently leading with his talents in Korean Lounge/Bossanova's growing flow with other groups such as Clazziquai and Fortune Cookies. It is said that this music is for 'stylish ladies and girls' but I feel if you enjoy new and creative musical talent then anyone can listen to Humming Urban Stereo.

Lee Jeereen is also involved in a single album with three other musicians, Sugar Flow, YeSLow and BROWN BUNNY (a.k.a. Lee Jeereen). This group is known as Instant Romantic Floor. Most of the music involved in the project is thought to be written by Jeereen. The album (creatively titled) 'Instant Romantic Floor' was released in May 2005 with eight album tracks (including bonus tracks). Since it was written by Jeereen it is another "cute music" album with some random R&B and rap thrown into the mix. This, I find, sometimes ruins the flow of the smooth songs Jeereen hands us with the random "yo's" in poor ghetto style. Besides that the music is enjoyable and funky as what you expect from H.U.S.
