Clazziquai Project

CLAZZIQUAI PROJECT. The Clazziquai is a project band composed of DJ Clazzi, the leader & key member of this experimental music project, and other vocals Horan, Alex and Christina. Through their website in 2001, they introduced various genres of music ranging from acid jazz to chill-out-lounge and the world music. Their music soon grabbed the attention of netizens and it has become a major trend to the trend-setters in the music industry. Even before a regular album was introduced, their music was recognized by a majority of people with TV commercials, drama OSTs and compilation albums. Their first album was released in August 2004. Since then, they have been invited to work in various parties, broadcasting stations, commercials and movies, and were recognized as one of the best artists to have both musical talent and popularity, In March 2005, they won ‘"Artist of the Year" and "Best Pop" awards when nominated to 5 categories at the Korean Popular Music Awards II. In June 2005, Clazziquai participated in the hit soap opera “My love Samsoon” that recorded the highest viewer ratings ever and became more popular.



The group has been positioned as the leader of the electronics music as they work in concerts and albums with Epik High, Bobby Kim, J in Korea, and with M-flo, Free Tempo, Daishi Dance, FPM in global stages.

DJ Clazzi >>He is the producer of all aspects of the Clazziquai Project in the area of music and design. He has friendly personality and a sense of humor, unfitting his outer cool look by the influence of his growing in Canada from youth. DJ Clazzi who is called the emperor of the electronic music is also in charge of all design works worth his past career experience as a web designer.The web site (www.clazziquai.co.kr), which became the starting point for Clazziquai, has been managed by him. He is familiar with new waves, 80's rock, and cult movies, which start with ‘Future century Brazil’. He also has many interests in environmental issues, choosing to drive a hybrid car. He collects chronograph watches as a hobby.

Alex >> He made his debut as a vocal of the Clazziquai project in 2004. He won popularity as he did a TV program ‘We just got married’ that was broadcast throughout Asia. Born in Canada, he is greatly loved by women fans for his sweet image. He is called a sweet guy with his talent in cooking, and has become the guy who many women want to marry. Recently, he has broadened his arena to musicals as well as TV and radio programs. He released a solo album ‘My Vintage Romance’ that has become a big hit in various music charts.

Horan>> Horan, being in love with her charming voice has a degree in Psychology & French from the Univ. She is called Diva Horan of Clazziquai with her beauty and intelligence, and become the idol of women fans. She has shown totally different style joining the acoustic band(Ibadi) in March 2008. Her intelligent sensibility was delivered to the fans through the book ’De Dapo’ It has become the best seller.  She has been turned to join the album from domestic & foreign musician. She was starring in the fashion program as fashion icon as well as radio DJ & MC for TV programs. Recently, She is greatly loved for taking part in O.S.T.(Restless love) of SBS drama “City hall”
