“The idea was to make a record by a producer like Tony Mansfield rather than a band or a singer and to use only the synths and drum machines of the era. New Musik were one of my early influences as a kid back in 1980 and their album From A to B was one of the first albums i bought, i still love it along with the follow up albums Anywhere and Warp. Theophilus had never heard of New Musik, but really got into them and even covered a song from the bands second album album Anywhere. I wanted to try and capture the spirit of the Tony Mansfield sound”
