The New York Jazzharmonic plays the world premiere of, "The Four Seasons of New York Jazz."

"The Four Seasons of New York Jazz" is a 90 minute concerto for jazz orchestra. Within its 4 seasons, and 12 movements, all the members of the orchestra have at least one improvisatory solo. This opening movement is programmatic music about riding the subway, and is a tribute to Billy Strayhorn.
