Josh Richardson and Charlie Glasspool introduce you to Mudtown Records.

Mudtown Records is named after a neighbourhood in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. Locals dubbed the area north of 15th Street on the eastside of town Mudtown, because water runoff from the nearby, clay embanked Niagara escarpment turned its streets to mud. Our first gig together was in Mudtown, so we thought if fitting to name our record label after it.

Mudtown Records was founded in 2010 by musicians Josh Richardson and Charlie Glasspool. It is dedicated to releasing and promoting local artists from in and arround their area. It is based in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada, which borders Grey and Bruce counties; hence the tagline: Scraped from the boots of Grey and Bruce Counties.
