First solo single released by Teremoana Rapley. Written by Teremoana, Beat produced by Teremoana, Bass played by Peter Hoera and Teremoana. Sample search assisted by the Original Manchu (AKLD circa 1991) and Roger Perry, Mixed at Incubator by Angus McNaughton, Mastered by Kathy at Stebbings. Created on Atari ST and Roland S550 (hahaha...). Music video: Directed by George Nuku, Greg Semu and Pita Turei. Shot on 16mm. Location: Auckland Secondary School Polynesian Festival at Mt Roskill Grammar, Pasifika Festival, Western Springs (early 90's, K'Rd/Symonds Street bus stop after school and Richmond Road school (Grey Lynn) ball courts). This song is dedicated to my first child - Kahuti, so that he would always know that we are all born innocent and beautiful regardless of colour. Peace!
