Honee, is a hip-hop artist hailing from the northern Florida hoods of Jacksonville. Standing out from typical female lyricists, in these days where many women go from extremes of thong sporting porno stars to pants sagging, crotch grabbing Hoodlums, Honee offers the Miami rap scene a fresh new presence. She has been performing as a hip-hop artist for the last 10 years and is assuming the position as the Queen of Southern Rap.

Influenced by female rappers like JJ Fad and Salt N Pepa, Honee started performing at the the tender age of 5 along with her big brother's singing group. And with the intent to vent and deal with the depression of her parent's divorce she began writing poetry at the age of 12. Some years later when her father died she began to focus on writing for music. Honee explains that her father was big on education so it was important that she went to college.

So in 2004 she left the small town of Jacksonville for Miami to attend art school. Since then she has earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising which she has incorporated with her passion for hip-hop and stared her own urban clothing line dubbed "Get it Girl". The clothing line created to celebrate the sassy urban woman mirrors her passion to reflect women's lives in her music.

Many of her songs express the thoughts and concerns of the everyday around-the-way young woman. Honee, a young mother herself, uses her own life experiences and observations as her inspiration, discussing ordinary life concerns including kids, family, and dating.

Honee now holds the throne as ATP's First Lady. The ATP click, which is headed by one of South Florida's most dynamic hood rappers CuttaMan, is one of South Florida's only poetry infused rap squads. You can listen for Honee's feel good music on her debut Mixtape which will by released the Winter of 2007. This release will finally allow the worlds to witness and possess a part of this artist who expertly combines her flippantly comedic lyrics with her flirtatious yet lady-like demeanor. Her fun and sassy nature will be reflected in songs like DimePiece:

"So fresh, I know u like that. Ask your man, he love me, You don't like that, The way I lean with it , when I rock with it, I got the thugs doing it, .Throwing a couple of dollars with me. Where my thug bitches? Gon' and rock with me, Get off the chain, do your thang, Hit the mall with me. Just remember one thing, its about them dollars, and if he don't got it, dont even holler. Last dude I told him, don't even bother, he bought a drink, I hurt his feelings when I bought him a bottle."

One of her more serious song's on her that has a true to South sound, "Tell Me Now", laments a young mother's problem with an neglectful Baby's-Daddy. With songs like these the ATP record label predicts that her upcoming, still untitled album will make an unusually fast impact on the rap industry.

Honee explains that her father's death, her mother's influence to be a stong woman and her son are her greatest motivations. She says, "As I was determined to earn my degree, I am just as determined with music. Music is in me, and I've got to do what's in me."

With her unique approach to Southern Rap, and a team seven equally talented and refreshing artists, Any Thing is Possible for this royal Lady.
