Homesick Elephant is a folk duo from Highland Park, CA.

"The House is Quiet" is from a collection of original songs about the fictional Branch family. In this song, Evelyn Branch anxiously awaits a phone call about the prognosis of her ailing daughter Eleanor. Evelyn thinks about her life and wonders what it would have been like if she hadn't chosen to get married and have children. The song is not yet recorded but will be included on an upcoming double record called "The Branch Family Tree".
