DESCRIPTION:
Holly Harrison sings "Double Dealing". It makes the perfect show piece for the album "Northern Soul 2009", and is one of the album's blue-eyed soul songs, the other being Jay Harvey. We first worked with this girl on a wonderful late 60's, London sounding stomper, "Bright Lights Of The City". We then recorded "Getting It Back Again", and then this amazing track, our third song together. Holly and I co-wrote this wonderful song, "Double Dealing", along with the late Clive Scott, a song which sounds like a classic 1960's Dusty Springfield masterpiece. After months of work, the album was finally released on September 21st 2009. A bittersweet loving tribute to the much missed Clive Scott.
