Rootsman: Born Enoch Mackonnen, Blessed with a rootical upbringing. Rootsman gives thanks for the love of Mama and Papa. Rootsman's Musical Foundation is the heartbeat. As a youth man Rootsman had the priviledge of sitting in on a live session at Tuff Gong Studio, Kingston Jamaica. That session was Bob Marley and the Wailers rehearsing So Much Trouble In THE WORLD. Baptized in Cane River, by The Gong. Rootsman as an artist now does well at sharing his musical lineage. Rootsman has shared the stage with many of reggae musics' biggest artists including Toots and the Maytals, Leroy Sibbles, Abyssinians, Steel Pulse, Third World, El General,Boomshaka, Chache Tadasse, Morgans' Heritage, JR. Toots, Jr. Reid, Abijah, Michael Rose and Sean Paul to name a few. Rootsman has performed internationally with Boomshaka. Rootsman through the years has blazed a trail of lava sounds that has currently created a huge solid fan base 'THE Kush Government.
