This is the world premiere performance of "Tommy - A Bluegrass Opry" performed LIVE at a showcase for the Folk Alliance Conference in Kansas City at the Sheraton Hotel in Kansas City, MO at midnight on Friday/Saturday 2/20/15. It is complete and runs 67 minutes.


I'm dedicating this video to Louis Jay Meyers ( who co-founded SXSW, Was Executive Director of Folk Alliance International) and who sparked the idea for this project and became the Manager for The Hillbenders . Louis - who was a great friend - and you will see him introducing the performance here died suddenly only months after this video was made. I'm so glad I could capture it!
