"The High Sierras are formed in the chaotic city of Vigo (Spain) in the summer of 2001.
The band members are old acquaintances of the minority and marginalized underground scene there.
The name of the band is taken from the classic of Raoul Walsh "High Sierra".
They play old rock n roll, blues and surf rock and they have shared a poster with: The BellRays, Violent Femmes, Danko Jones, The Jeevas,Soledad Brothers,
