Very High Frequency Noise Ambient Sound for Six Hours - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 22, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
Mostly frequencies above 5000 Hz (5kHz) to 20,000Hz, it is similar to Blue Noise and Violet Noise from the series but contains less lows. Listeners may find VHF Noise useful for reasons such as relieving ear fatigue such as tinnitus.
This is a request came from someone seeking ear fatigue relief. I'm sure some will dislike VHF Noise's intensity. It's like licorice, one either love's it whole-heartedly, or can't stand it. :)
The creation process involved a DAW (digital audio workstation), ProTools. A audio signal generator was utilized to create noise which is then equalized to create noise only above 5kHz. The audio is recorded from the generator for 10 hours. The exported into a video editing program, Magix Vegas. A corresponding video is created with custom graphics I made in the video program. The visual is animated, then married to the audio and rendered out to the full length final video.
YouTube's high frequency delivery in the compressed audio format is detectable as a mild swishy sound. There is no way to improve it with the current YT delivery scheme
I welcome, enjoy and learn from your comments.
Thanks for listening. Dale
