To celebrate their 10th anniversary MXZEHN enter the theatre with the performance 10x10 that was comissioned by the e.werk Festival Weimar. The video artists installed a Mega-Videomschine in the "Maschinensaal" of the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar. Ten screens and monitors show different sections in a circuit flow that can be manipualted and thus performed on many knobs and switches. Together with composer Marc Sauter and musician Agios Fellekapolakis the artists Stefan Kraus and Bahadir Hamdemir conquer the theatre stage for VJ Art.. For a decade the VJ art group MXZEHN - 25 Masterpieces per Second thinks of the moving image as a live, visual instrument. Elaborate arrangements of equipment lay ground for virtuous improvisations. Analogue glitch and digital realtime compositing complement each other in the work of MXZEHN and stay performable at all times.

Anlässlich ihres zehnten Geburtstags begaben sich MXZEHN mit der eigens für das e.werk-Festival entstandenen Performance und Installation „ZEHN mal ZEHN" ins Theater: Im Maschinensaal des Deutschen Nationaltheater Weimar installieren die Videokünstler eine Mega-Videomaschine. Zehn Leinwände und Monitore stellen verschiedene Schnitte innerhalb eines Kreislaufs dar, der an unzähligen Reglern verstellt werden kann. Zusammen mit dem Komponisten Marc Sauter und Musiker Agios Fellekapolakis öffnen die Künstler Stefan Kraus und Bahadir Hamdemir der VJ-Kultur die Theaterbühne. Seit zehn Jahren versteht die VJ-Kunstgruppe MXZEHN -- 25 Masterpieces per Second Bewegtbild als live Instrument. Ausgefeilte Technikarrangements bilden die Ausgangslage für virtuose Improvisationen. Analoger Glitch und digitales Echtzeit-Compositing ergänzen sich im Werk von MXZEHN und bleiben dabei immer performbar.
