Notabolamus - Cìaccona Ciaccàta - Part 2/2 "Scriteriato" - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 28, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
étude on 5th movement of J.S.Bach Partita in D minor for solo violin (BWV 1004).

Synopsis:
At the "18° Concerto di Primavera" held at "Parrocchia Gesù Operaio" in Turin, two different artists performed this dance - the first on the violin and the second on the piano. I'm sure that if musicians are attracted by this Ciaccona there is something valuable hidden inside. So why don't try to smash it down and look for the treasure? I guess Bach trapped in this dance something he found around Köthen...

Part 1 - "Composto":
The foreground has been splitted, lowered by 12 to 24 semitones, and layered over a background of Salvatore Sciarrino "Notturni Brillanti", Sofia Gubaidulina "Stunde der Seele", François Bayle "Erosphere III" and Helena Gough "Condensed Milk". Now let's search the treasure...

Part 2 - "Scriteriato":
No more distinction between foreground and background, the entropy has been raised so any parcel is finally free to float 3 octaves up or down. If your vision of the treasure is the order, consider what is the actual meaning of "ordo ab chao".
