Here's a brief example of what tweaked telecaster sounds like - E and A strings have been replaced with bass strings (gauges .105 and .85) and tuned and an octave lower than usual. The only modification to the guitar itself was removing saddle spring from the bridge for wider range and easier intonation. There's no additional electronic processing - guitar goes straight to recording interface and amp simulation with reverb.
