Hashashin is the night psytrance solo project of Belgium based musician Quentin Van Houtte.

Born in 1982, he started his musical journey in the early 90's behind a drumset, delivering metal, funk, hiphop, reggae with different bands. But he got strongly hit by the virus of electronic music in 2004 and little by little started to focus all his energy on music production and djing.

Since his first public aparition behind the decks in 2008, he has been shaking all kind of imaginable dancefloor: forest, club, squat, beach, church, jungle, boat, castle, mountain, ressort,... and he has been playing his own productions on major festivals such as boom 2010 and freedom 2011. He has been booked with crazy famous artists such as E.V.P, Digital Talk, Trold, Psykovsky, Pick, Grouch,... in several countries: Belgium, Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Mexico, Guatemala...

Hashashin's music is between 146 and 148 bpm, provides strong and groovy basslines, tribal hypnotic percussions, twisted organic synth textures and funny samples. It turns dancefloors into a powerful and positive energy explosion
