In collaboration with VICE Japan, we present this “Behind the Scenes” interview from the music video series MOST VALID REASON - a platform where we introduce artists from various genres by showing you the infinite possibilities provided by the MVR.

After the Die Antwoord’s performance at The Orange Peel in Asheville, we got a chance to sit and talk with them about the backgrounds that have helped them carve out a unique style and place for themselves in the music world. They tell us about cultural movements South Africa, their homes, Zef culture, and their favourite artists. Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$er also fill us in on how “Happy Go Sucky Fucky” is based off of their interpretation of Japanese video game.
