"Hannelore" is a German soldiers' song from 1938, about a couple in love - a soldier and a girl called Hannelore - separated, but still loyal to each other. It was translated in Finnish, by Reino Palmroth ("Anna-Maija"). Song was composed initially as a "Marsch und Lied", but it was here performed as a "Marsch-Fox", without the long march-intro. It originally had three strophes, the 1st and the 3rd were recorded here.
