Halo Of Flies "Rubber Room" • Amphetamine Reptile Records - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 08, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
Scale 02 b/w "Thoughts In A Booth" - Released in early 1985 this is the first release on Amphetamine Reptile Records. Though it predates Sub Pop it's no coincidence this was often lumped in with Mudhoney and other Seattle bands, as Singer/guitarist Tom Hazelmyer was living in the Seattle area at the time of this release, and went on to release singles by The Thrown ups and U-Men and was friends with the key figures of that soon to explode scene. This track was recorded in Minneapolis as a 2 piece with Hazelmyer playing both bass and guitar, and John Anglim playing drums.
(available on iTunes, eMusic, Amazon as part of the "Music For Insect Minds" CD
