DESCRIPTION:
Hal McGee (from Gainesville, FL) on Friday, September 14, 2007 at the Pom Hole in Richmond, VA. Introduction by MC Nazi Dad. This was the second night of the Hissing Across America tour with Ironing. Hal created a live sound collage each night with source material that evolved via the inclusion of cut-up fragments of each day's activities. In addition, audience members were encouraged in advance to participate by bringing their own battery operated handheld sound making devices. For this performance additional sounds were provided by Keith Childress (microcassette), and Andrew Chadwick (live cassette recordings and cut-ups).
