Haddonfield got together in 2004 and recorded 3 tracks in 3 days at a friends in-house studio for our first demo 'And Deliver Us From Evil' in 2005 which we gave out free to people at shows.

Our first show was at a Animal Rights Benefit show at TJ's, Newport on August 14th 2005. Slowly we began to build momentum and started to make a name for ourselves by taking the attitude of not sticking within a scene and opting instead to play with whomever we could. Constant gigging since has landed us shows with the likes of: The Misfits, The Adolescents, UK Subs, Drongo’s For Europe, Osaka Pop Star (Ft Markey Ramone), Against All Authority, 4ft Fingers, The Drips, Adequate 7, Zico Chain, Midasuno, Dopamine and many local bands across the UK.

BAR BRAWLS & DOWNFALLS EP

Late 2006 saw the recording of our first EP, “Bar Brawls and Downfalls”, which was part produced by both Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers) and Nick Lloyd (Midasuno). The CD was released in early 2007 on indie label Thousand Yard Stereo and went on to receive some great reviews from the International Punk/rock press and was even given a thumbs up from Trever Keith of the Californian punk rock band, Face to Face. April of 2007 saw the EP getting chosen as Record of the Week on Steve Lamacqs Online Radio show 6-music and the LA based radio station Complete Control Radio aired tracks from the CD.

PANIC 7"

More recently, we recorded brand new exclusive tracks for our debut 7" vinyl release on Seven Inch Records in Cardiff with Chris Affixion from Midasuno. The 'B' sides we recorded are an acoustic version of 'Broke', which Chris played piano on and 'Things Change' which features Nicky Williams from another amazing South Wales band Solutions on backing vocals. The artwork for the single is supplied by our longtime friend Steve @13 Dead. 'Panic' has been played on Radio 1, Radio Wales, Xfm, BRfm, GTfm and several US college radio stations, plus alongside the track 'Romero' from 'Bar Brawls.', has been used on 2 seperate Subbacultcha podcasts. 'Panic' has also recently been used in Channel 4's 'Freesports On 4' extreme sports programme. The video for 'Panic' was directed by Chris Callow in Cardiff earlier in the year and since it was put up on youtube by the punk video hosting site Blank TV it currently has had over 20,000 hits! The video can also be watched on the awesome online punk magazine www.distortedmagazine.com

TOURING

We completed our latest tour across the country in May with our friends A New Day, where we showcased a brand new set of tunes and are set to return to the road early in 2009. We have a few shows lined up towards the end of the year, which gets us out of the studio for a breather. We are currently looking for a booking agent and hope to have one arranged soon.Currently we are taking bookings through our label. We also occasionally put on our own DIY shows under the name Shit Creek Promotions in Mid Wales.

"Terrace styled harmonies and bleeding hooks as though they're fast going out of fashion"

Losingtoday.com

"Gives more than just a passing nod to the likes of Avail and Face to

Face. it's a relief to hear a band come out of South-Wales that isn't

afraid to ignore the current musical fashion "

Punktastic.com

"A nice change of pace from the pseudo-metal influenced crap so popular at the moment. a recommended listen!"

Trever Keith of Face to Face

"Its simple punk rock with the attitude of Agnostic Front and the group vocals you'd expect to hear from the band and crowd at a Dropkick Murphys show."
