L.A. (Love Affair) - Gypsy (prog with flute, 1970) - Video

DESCRIPTION:
Lyrics after hearing
1:09
Seeing, life is my reflexion
shines in her direction
from her crystal ball
Hearing, lost souls calling madly
Spirits screaming madly
from her crystal ball

Fingers, mother planet's flying
Life [land(s)] slowly dying
in my shaking palm
Deep cuts, see the trill [rezgés] is playing
Worries are decaying
to eternal (cope) [papi köpeny..vagy "megbírkózik vmivel, vagyis győzedelmeskedik" ]

From the cards comes
the aces of spades, oh
and the spirit deep within me cries

From the cards comes
the aces of spades, oh
and the spirit deep within me cries

Gypsy
what do you see?
Gypsy
you gotta tell me!

"I look into my crystal ball
I see your troubles in my (due) .. (wall)
I look and see a weary place
not of this world
or out of space.
But deep below
in dark of night
no place to stay
no I .................................."

No no please!
I cannot stand it!

According to www.darrylread.com, Gus Yeadon was actually a member of the DARRYL READ BAND in 1979-1980, along with Anthony Glynn, Jim Avery and Darryl Read - and he is featured on Darryl's "Colectomatic" album. Says Darryl (by e-mail): August (Gus) did record with me at Marcus sound studios around 1980, the session was produced by Tony Meehan (formerly of the Shadows). We recorded five original tracks, penned by myself and one co written by Steve Randle and I, another co-written by Steve Forest (of 'Silverhead' fame) and myself. One of these tracks 'High Rise Angry Young Man' appears on my 'COLECTOMATIC' CD album. On this track Gus plays a mean Hammond keyboard and sings a great back up vocal. The sessions were intended to be demos and were raw mixes, however when doing this compilation I felt they were more than good enough to be released, and should have been at the time, even with hardly any mixing. Incidentally I was the lead vocalist in this outfit and not the drummer. Here are the tracks recorded with Gus:

High Rise Angry Young Man (composed by Darryl Read)
West End Girl (composed by Darryl Read)
Living On Borrowed Time (composed by Darryl Read)
Soho Lady (composed by Darryl Read/Steve Randle)
Step Out of Line (composed by Darryl Read/Steve Forest)

Morgan Fisher, Maurice Bacon and Bob Sapsed formed the band Morgan in the summer of 1971, recruiting vocalist Tim Staffel from the pre-Queen combo Smile. The band released two albums before disbanding.
