DESCRIPTION:
Deborah and Sisera is a sacred action to music, or sacred drama in two acts , with music by Pietro Alessandro Guglielmi and libretto by Carlo Sernicola.

The first performance took place at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples February 13, 1788 under the direction of Michele le Bon, with the scenery of Domenico Chelli and the stellar cast that was made ​​possible by the position of primacy which the Neapolitan square then enjoyed on the international opera scene .

The historical events
