DESCRIPTION:
The beautiful old English ballad, 'Scarbourgh Fair' was forever made immortal by Simon & Garfunkel...now, for the first time in human history, I have arranged it for ancient Greek lyre!

Not as bizarre a musical experiment as it seems, since 'Scarbourough Fair', along with so many other traditional folk melodies are modal - they are literally composed in the ancient Greek modes! 'Scarborough Fair' is actually in the beautifully poignant ancient Greek Phrygian Mode (misnamed in the muddled up Middle Ages as the 'Dorian' mode - the equivalent intervals as D-D on the white notes of the piano).
