"Just One Look" is a song co-written by American R&B singers Doris Troy and Gregory Carroll. The recording by Doris Troy was a hit in 1963, and personnel on the song included Horace Ott on Piano, Snags Allen on guitar, Barney Richmond on bass and Bruno Carr on drums.
It was also released as a single from Linda Roinstadt's 1978 album, "Living In The U.S.A.". The personnel were Linda Ronstadt -- vocals, Dan Dugmore on electric & steel guitars, Waddy Wachtel on electric guitar, Don Grolnick on piano, Kenny Edwards on Bass, Russ Kunkel on drums. Also: Peter Asher on cowbell, tambourine, background vocals and Andrew Gold, Pat Henderson, Sherlie Matthews, David Lasley, Arnold McCuller - background vocals
This video is a combination of the two audio tracks, recorded 15 years apart, joined together. The texture is a little rough because Doris' original had a shuffle feel that was a bit behind the beat and Linda's is more on the beat but the vocals sound surprisingly good together.
