Another one of those phone call inquiries that I so look forward to - covering Bass parts for Greg Fischer & his Shift Change Band - Eddie was on vacation and was unavailable for a couple of gigs - Since Greg always has Good Players, most notably long-time member Lei Stanhope on Guitar & Vocals, they do cool songs and have a good time while playing.... I jumped at the opportunity...!!!

Earlier in the week, Greg sent me a copy of their songlist & I wrote back saying I was pretty-good-to-go on everything on their list...

So this evenings performance was our unrehearsed interpretation of their songlist... I thought the songs came off surprisingly well, especially with throwin' some crazy-ass DamnGeezer Bass Guitar owner into the mix...!!! - Even some of our impromptu 3-part harmonies really sounded nice & tight...
The crowd really seemed to enjoy themselves - hardly anyone was leaving -

Again, a Real Fun Time that ended Way Too Soon - Just about the time we really started gettin' locked-in with each other, the night was over... Dang It...!!!

We had a fair-sized, receptive crowd to play for, and they seemed to enjoy our songlist and the memories that the songs generated...!!!

It IS a Magical Thang... Oh, yeah... and I get to use a 35 year-old Slik Tripod that my Father bought for me...
